i recall a while back someone posted old wt's here from 1917 saying jw's should buy liberty bonds, war bonds, a 1919 wt saying the league of nations was a good thing.

and other one saying god said the allies would win ww1 , and other one from this time saying to salute the flag etc.

if some one can post them for me i would be most greatful... john

Getting out...terminating Bible study

i have been visited by a local jw woman weekly for almost 4 years and started weekly study about 1 year ago.

friday things took a more serious turn and i am very uncomfortable.. i need advise on how to stop the meetings (without being offensive) and still get away from this madness before it gets out of control.

the best way to when your study teachers show's up. stop her at the door. say do you have a piece of paper. then tell her to put you on the do not call list right now. thank you for your time. but i'm now on the do not call list. have a nice day. close the door and forget it. never let her get one word in. john

the whole 1919 idea is bullshit; do research on the sedition act and esponage act 1917, rutherfraud got off easy. and they were still preaching the same crap after they got out of jail that they were preaching before, 1799, 1844, 1873,74 ,78, 81 1910, 12 ,14 15 18 ,20 21 25 etc. in fact they even got wackier once they were let out of jail. that 's how i know the wt is lying. in 2005. just read some wt's from 1914-1931

Television Show on the Jehovah's Witnesses on February 7th

just a reminder that there will be a television show tomorrow night at 7 pm central time (usa) on the eternal word television network about the jws.. i will be giving my story of how i was raised as a jehovah's witness, served time at bethel, was a pioneer etc.

i am a catholic now.. in any case, the show is live.

i have heard jeff. before on a few radio talk shows. he's very professional and knowledgable about the jw's. a true treat for us x jw's to have someone like him on t.v. i suggest as many as possible to watch and call in if they can. i seem to get ewtn on a few different cable channels. not sure if they are re runs. thank you for your fine work jeff. john

........................expressed the desire to meet for coffee or lunch, seeing as though we work so close to eachother.. i must say it was quite a surprise.

this sister is older and been a dub for much longer than i ever was.

she wasn't one of my close friends either, so the email had me curious while also pleasantly surprised.. i replied and we met yesterday for lunch.. she embraced me and we hugged.

The Bible Students as a Healthy Alternative

for some exiting jw's, they are "true believers" as far as some of the key doctrines of the wtbts are concerned, but they feel trapped in an organization that seems far removed from its original principles.. do you think the bible students are a relatively healthy alternative to the wts machine?.

RR is a heavy bible student. and x jw. he did great work here exposing the wt and old wt teachings. he could rip judge rutherFRAUD, into a million little peices, he started trying to preach russellism here for about a month , and got his head handed to him. he acted no different than a jw's defending the fds. only he was defending russell. his true colors came out in the wash. i feel sorry for him. john

i know in britian the gov't gives a% of tax money to charities based on their donations. wt included. the wt ahs also accepted $$$$$$$$$ from the new.york state gov't , when they built their power plant in pATTERSON i think it was about $50,000 , i 've heard more such deals, but can't remember them off the top of my head. john
